Simple and unexpensive

This tracking system is inexpensive and is not dependent of any additional specific device. A simple mail and your position is displayed on a customized map, accessible at any time and from anywhere in the world!

Complementary to geocolalisation systems that address mainly your security or the monitoring of your possessions, this system is essentially a good news vector. Moreover you control the positions you want to publish.

Better than a mailing list or a simple blog

Your successive bearings are automatically displayed online on a dedicated web page. Compared to a mailing list or a standard blog, this system offers many advantages:

  • Your journey and the last bearing sent are displayed at once.
  • One can access to it whenever he whish whitout being annoyed by unwanted news.
  • You are fully independent of an external intervention.
  • Your tracking page can easily fit in your own web pages.

Each bearing is indeed shown on a sketch map and associated to a text message of your choice. Compared to technical data usually displayed which seem lifeless and virtual, the messages linked to your positions make all the difference; it gives to your progress an incomparable relief warm and human. All those who follow you are fully at ease about your welfare and really share your adventures.

A very flexible system

You are free to send your former position whenever you want and from wherever you want. Positions are automatically sorted in chronological order. You can also modify or delete a position. This system accepts the processing of mails written in a predefined format whatever the mean you use to send them:

  • mail sent from a mobile phone,
  • SMS sent from an Iridium,
  • any other system able to send a mail (Iridium, Immarsat C...)
  • webmail.

Compatible with automatic tracking

And if you want to use, in addition, an automatic tracking, you can also use:

  • a SPOT beacon that can send your position every 10 minutes !

  • automatic sending of MaxSea's log by Standard-C detect,
  • any other technical mean, to suggest...

Designed to follow navigations out at sea, this system could as welll be used for land expeditions or simple journeys.
